LARGE FORMAT

Any image greater than 8 by 10 is technically large format.

Giga Pixel Images are typically larger than 1,000 mega pixel in size.

Digital Virgin provides images as large format from 10 mega pixel to well over 1,000 mega pixel. Typical large format images are 675 Mbyte in file size. These large format images can be printed in sizes up to 44" by 24'. By using Zoomifyer EZ we are able to deliver Large Format images on the web and on CD. This technology allows the viewer to "Zoom" in on a large image while maintaining the smaller file sizes associated with web images.
