David Coles-Dobay.
David Coles-Dobay is the founder and concept architect of Digital Virgin, Inc.
Mr. Coles-Dobay was identified as a child prodigy, and attended a private religious academy excelling in theology, philosophy, advanced math and science academics. At the age of 14 he was awarded his high school diploma by the State of Pennsylvania due to his advanced mastery of required curriculum. In 1976, he competed on the State level in the VICA, Vocational Industrial Clubs of America, skill olympics and won third place in the state for radio and TV repair.
David enlisted in the US military under the pipeline program and rapidly advanced in rank during which most of his service was of a sensitive nature and is still under classification. His military studies and self education included the mastery of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and command. He has worked on several sensitive projects as an engineer for Wells Thermo Flood, United Technologies, General Dynamics and Motorola.
David is listed as a member of the SAE, Society of Automotive Engineers. He designed, built and campaigned several ZR-1 Corvette racing vehicles during the late 80s. The national SCCA Sports Car Club of America, GTU class winner for 1986, 1987, 1988 was created by Mr. Coles-Dobay.
Between 1988 and 1989 Mr. Coles-Dobay supervised an electrical crew of 56 men who wired more than 100 large custom homes.
In early 1990’,s he was the crew chief of a Busch Grand National Race team BB Racing. During the same time he worked for Motorola Manufacturing Systems the Research and Development Division. He implemented several multi-million dollar manufacturing robotics systems through out the world. His unique project management skills were known for bringing in the job ahead of time and under budget. His mastery of advanced statistical math allowed him to create fault prediction systems for the many factory systems in the world. This system provided Motorola with a vast reduction in critical system offline time saving millions of dollars in production an repair costs.
During his tenure at Motorola Mr. Coles-Dobay, in addition to his other responsibilities, was an Apple Support Coordinator. As an ASC, Mr. Coles-Dobay enabled a core group of associates reliable continuous computer use.
In 1996, Mr. Coles-Dobay lead the robotics division of the Panda project and managed the creation of the manufacturing systems for the deployment of biometric security chips which are still in use today. He also assisted in the milestone Chrome project that first broke the 1 ghz processor speed barrier.
He joined Creative Marketing Impact, Inc. in 1997 as the CIO, Chief Information Officer. While working for CMI Mr. Coles-Dobay created several electronic business systems enabling CMI’s clients to facilitate extremely rapid growth in the mass market. His analysis of key market demographics and studies of mass population trends have enabled him to assist in the creation of many multi-million dollar programs. His technical guidance and ability to combine dissimilar technologies has enabled multiple clients to achieve their market potential.
Mr. Coles-Dobay is published both as an artist for his photography and as multi industry expert contributing more than 500 articles to online trade magazines. His rating amongst computer gurus is known as elite. He has the ability to envision and create simple systems that implement solutions to complex problems. Individuals and groups often seek his immeasurable knowledge for solving a multitude of issues and to provide vast educational knowledge.
Debby Coles-Dobay
Mrs. Coles-Dobay has served as president of Creative Marketing Impact, Inc. with 12 years of experience in mass market retail strategy as well as an accumulative 33 years of experience in advertising and marketing. As an industry expert in many categories that target the mass market, Mrs. Coles-Dobay will provide a strong marketing direction for Digital Virgin.
Mrs Coles-Dobay demonstrated her business savvy at an early age. Instead of baby sitting she held art classes for various aged children for after school care. Her forward thinking and problem solving allowed her to maximize her money making abilities at the same time facilitate her artistic talent and deliver happiness to children and their families.
Mrs Coles-Dobay mastered her skills attending graduate school while pursuing her artistic talent. She won awards for her visual art while displaying her work in numerous exhibits. While attending school, she began her marketing practice by creating logos and advertisements for a variety companies. Following her graduation with a BFA, Mrs Coles-Dobay joined a Cox news paper group to develop advertisements for the local paper, The Palm Beach Post. She involved herself with the Newspaper in Education program and assisted other departments in the company to meet their marketing goals.
Her drive to advance, found her at a prominent West Palm Beach advertising agency in the early 1980’ s called, Collee & Company. Upon her hire as a graphic artist, the Art Director left and she quickly advanced into that position directing projects for Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies, Palm Beach Polo, Wellington, Northern Trust Bank and prestigious real estate accounts. Mrs Coles-Dobay’s ambition to deliver effective and efficient advertising and marketing lead her to founding her own company, Advertising Services. She assisted companies such as Goodwill Industries, United Technologies, Wenoka Sea Style and Sun Pharmaceuticals with their advertising and marketing programs.
The founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals quickly learned of Debby’s talent and offered a position in house to assist him to develop the Banana Boat Skin & Sun Care brand to a National position. During her 7 years at Sun Pharmaceuticals, Mrs Coles-Dobay drove the Banana Boat Sun and Skin Care brand to the number two market share position in the world. During this time she created several programs that allowed the company to react competitively to the complexities of the category and efficiently meet the company’s budgets. She functioned at the executive level in all facets of the business. Mrs. Coles-Dobay has been awarded with (POPIA) point of purchase advertising awards and Inc. 500 fastest growing company awards, two years in a row. As the brand grew from a $5 million regional company to it’s sale to Playtex Family Products at $ 90 million, Mrs. Coles-Dobay became valued so much so that Playtex attempted to keep Debby’s expertise aboard with the acquisition of the Banana Boat Brand.
Mrs Coles-Dobay took her multi-talented background and founded Creative Marketing Impact, Inc. She wanted to apply her entrepreneurial skills to assist other companies to achieve their success. Over the 12 years CMI has assisted many companies to accomplish their growth and distribution goals. The focus of Creative Marketing Impact has been in delivering marketing programs to gain distribution in the Mass Market Retail segment. Debby’s programs has allowed many companies to get their products in National accounts such as Wal Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Albertsons, Winn-Dixie, and Longs just to name a few. CMI has secure media partners with the largest media buying houses in the country delivering advertising programs that saves her client millions of dollars and delivers their targeted message. Debby is often sought out by editors of major publications ( ie. Cosmo, Vogue, Women’sDay) for her assessment of various categories and industries. She has created new product lines and has extensive knowledge in Licensing of products and brand names. Her versatile background allows her to assist any company with just about any type of project. This unique talent and strong vendor resources allows her to provide a wealth of knowledge to accomplish any task.
Mrs Coles-Dobay also volunteers her time and expertise by serving on the Art Commission board for the City of Boynton Beach, Florida. This is a newly founded board, that Debby Chairs, has been given the task to create and deliver recommendations and guidelines for an Art in Public Places program for the City of Boynton Beach to adopt.
Don Berkach, Mr. Berkach has over 25 years of experience in corporate management, mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, and turnarounds. In 2003, Mr. Berkach leveraged his business experience and opened his own consulting practice. He has had several successes in assisting start-ups, securing funding and setting up organizational structures. In 1999, he became a part owner of International Aero Components Inc., functioning as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Founded in 1994, International Aero Components Inc., purchased, leased and traded after-market aircraft spare parts to airlines worldwide. Mr. Berkach is an alumnus of Aviation Systems International, Inc., where he served as Controller and General Manager from March 1997 through its sale in November 1999. Early in his career, he trained as a consultant with Proudfoot Consulting, a specialist firm that implements operational improvements. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for several companies including the fortune 1000, a Director of Administration for a large retail chain, and six years as Director of Finance for CBS Inc.
His educational background includes an accounting degree from the University of Canada. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Mr. Berkach has continued his education through various courses and seminars including asset appraising and taxation.
Alan M Schefter
Over thirty years of business management experience encompassing a broad spectrum of retail organizations ranging from the small independent retailer to a chain of licensed gift and lamp departments, a publicly held international discount department store chain and most recently a chain of publicly owned (formerly listed on NASDAQ) specialty housewares stores. Has developed a unique combination of entrepreneurial and professional management skills from experience in all facets of personnel management, training and development, strategic planning, finance, operations, merchandising, management information systems (EDP), advertising and promotion.
Timothy D. Hogan
Mr. Hogan holds Six (6) NASD securities licenses and registrations with an SEC Registered Investment Bank primarily of Principal status. His securities industry training started with a few large securities brokerage and investment banking firms, such as, Merrill Lynch, E.F. Hutton and Shearson Lehman Brothers, now known as, Salomon/Smith Barney a Member of Citigroup.
Mr. Hogan is a former Senior Trading Principal, Director of Compliance and Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Hogan supervised the management of eight internal departments in relation to Federal and State(s) securities laws, as well as, overall firm productivity, operational systems design and technological implementation. Mr. Hogan has been a Founding Principal of seven entrepreneurial endeavors.
